Webocclusion using the Sideris buttoned device indicates that this method is relatively safe and effective, according to Rao and associates [4]. In that multiinstitutional trial 180 transcatheter ASD occlusions were performed. Success- ful implantation was accomplished in 166 of 180 patients.
